John Weatherford is Founder and CEO of Weatherford Insurance. Prior to founding the agency, John built a successful career in the banking and insurance industries, apexing as the SVP and Practice Leader at M.E. Wilson Company. There he led the company's effort in building and growing relationships in the M&A space.
John's entrepreneurial ambition, underscored by a commitment to excellence, is driving lasting impact in the insurance industry, offering innovative and personalized solutions that cater to his clients' needs. Under his proven leadership, Weatherford Insurance is poised to become a beacon of success in Tampa and beyond.
A native of the vibrant city of Tampa, John's passion for community engagement is steadfast. He actively participates in numerous local organizations, such as the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA), Pasco EDC, Leadership Tampa Bay, and Tampa Connection.
John is the husband of Rachel and the father of Dallas. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time with their family and church.
